I heard someone else say who is the exact same nail the reason they’re bent is because the Romans would reuse the nails after they would crucify and kill people. Meaning the nails were more valuable than the people being crucified.

Those nails didn’t keep him on the cross. His love for you and me did. That’s so true. He is one who says Christ was nailed through the wrists but all of ancient iconography depictions show his hands were nailed. Also the prophecy of Psalm 22 says “they pierce my hands and feet” not my wrists. They say that the hands wouldn’t hold up the body on the cross but how do you know this? Also in films where they depict the crucifixion they also use rope to hold up the body.

Good grief. I am getting so close to unsubscribing. I just want the old Shawn Ryan Show back. I’m a christian, and I love Jesus, but I don’t come here for this. Especially whoever this creep is. There’s something so unsettling about the way he looks and speaks. I don’t trust a single thing that comes out of his mouth only because it confirms my already firm beliefs. My gut feeling is right about 95% of the time, so I usually trust it. The world would be a much better place if people would just stop making their religion their entire identity/personality.
