As a longtime fan, I honestly think you guys are at your best when the show stays silly, chaotic, and fun. That’s what makes Bad Friends special.
Lately when the conversation drifts into serious political commentary, especially around war, religion, and international conflict, it feels undercooked and kind of careless. Not because comedians can’t talk about politics (they absolutely can) but because those topics affect real people in painful ways, and joking through them without real thought can come off as tone-deaf.
A lot of big comedians have gone down that road (Rogan, Theo, Shulz, etc) trying to mix comedy with serious political commentary without really understanding the weight of it. And, honestly it usually just feels irresponsible.
You guys are better than that.
Either go deeper and be thoughtful, or stick to what you’re genuinely great at: being funny.
That’s coming from someone who actually loves the show and wants it to stay great.
