Gender equality issues. Equal pay did not exist in the 1970s or 1980s.
In the 1970s and 1980s, which were over twenty years ago, my grandfather was a breadwinner and provider for his wife and children, a role that is still appreciated now. My grandmother and many women did not have opportunities to earn employment that provided enough income to pay for housing and feed themselves, as the economy was structured to have women depend on men for their housing, food, and transportation. Many husbands were also wife beaters who physically beat the shit out of their wives in the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s.
When I was in elementary school, I saw my grandfather physically punch and hit my grandmother frequently, which is childhood trauma 💔 Domestic violence wasn’t considered to be domestic violence in those days.
Men knew how to be gentlemen, but they also had the upper hand because they were the primary providers, often holding higher-paying jobs and receiving specialized training to secure employment. Women female gender were used for their exploitation, but we are not allowed to speak or say that. The exploitation of women goes on because of the lack of awareness. Awareness about what women should have in the geographic area, but don’t.
I’ve noticed that a lot of men often seem to be in a hurry when it comes to physical intimacy. While I understand that this eagerness can stem from a desire for connection, it often leaves me feeling a bit intimidated. The quick pace can make it challenging for me to fully engage and build the deeper emotional bond that I value. It’s somewhat disheartening to observe this rush because it can overshadow the meaningful experiences that come with taking the time to truly understand each other. I believe that nurturing a genuine connection before jumping into physical aspects can lead to a more fulfilling relationship for both partners.
This message emphasizes the importance of understanding personal preferences and accepting that others may have different likes and dislikes, which is perfectly natural. Recognizing that people may enjoy activities, foods, or hobbies that I might not find appealing, and vice versa, highlights the diversity of individual tastes. These differences extend to our emotional reactions; at times, we may feel similarly about certain situations, while at other times, our responses differ significantly. Developing trust in oneself is crucial for leading a happy and healthy life, as it involves discovering what truly resonates with us and maintaining consistency in these preferences and habits. Ultimately, embracing personal authenticity and respecting differing viewpoints fosters emotional well-being and stronger relationships.
It’s not the choices of religion that upset me, but rather the prejudiced views that cause harm. These views often imply that one religion is superior to another, fostering discrimination and intolerance. Christianity tends to be the most prevalent faith, especially in small rural towns across the United States, where community ties are strong. Jewish, Muslim, Islamic, Buddhist, Atheist, and other spiritual or non-religious beliefs are also present and significant. However, the discrimination rooted in these prejudiced perspectives frequently affects individuals’ ability to find and retain employment, a problem that persists in many communities regardless of religious or spiritual background.
Economics and peacebuilding involve complex interactions where sustainable economic development supports community revitalization by creating job opportunities, reducing poverty, and fostering social cohesion. These efforts are essential for establishing lasting peace in conflict-affected regions.

I hide my hair underneath a hat because it helps alleviate some issues
There are lots of women who chop their hair off for various reasons
There are lots of obese and overweight people
I hide my body under baggy layers of clothing because it is freezing cold, and it deters stimulation in ways that cause people to think specific thoughts
If a woman catches the eye and looks visually appealing to a man, then men want to physically touch the woman because they want to touch what they visually see as pretty or prettiness.
It’s not a good idea to try to look too pretty because they want to physically touch what they visually see as appealing to them
The way a person looks might cause people to make assumptions about things

My father was on The NIMITZ VF-41 Black Aces 1978-1981 he was part of the rescue mission that failed 100 miles outside of Tehran in the desert. He was also on board during the filming of the movie Final Countdown with Michael Douglas! My father has told me many stories of things that had happened and the cable snapping was one of them. He said night operations in the north Atlantic were a little hairy at times! He said the 145 days at sea without seeing land was gnarly!

2 weeks into a sailors deployment on our way home from a Westpac I watched a sailor walk right into a tail rotor and become ground chuck 2 moths before that it was a guy that got ran over by a fire tug on work ups 2 guys got smoked by a 240G. Warfighting is dangerous
I worked as an ABE for 4 yrs, it’s definitely a head on swivel atmosphere. You gotta know what you’re doing up there. I seen people get blown off the flight deck by jet exhaust. I seen jets go in the water. Night time operations are the worse especially in bad weather. The average age of the people on the fight deck is 18 to 21 yrs old. If we gonna send these kids to war make sure it’s something noble and for America.
Definitely not the most dangerous place on earth. Take Hiroshima, Japan on August 6th, 1945 at 8:15am local time for example. Or O-block in Chicago. Perhaps the Lava pit at the center of an active volcano. I could go on
I’m a 67 year old woman. I can honestly say I always wanted to be a Shooter on a flight deck.
Been there done that. One of the most dangerous if not THE most dangerous places to work. It gets worse try doing it at night! Go Navy!

My brother had to body bag his friend on deck back in the day and my brother has never been the same as one would expect. So indeed one of the most dangerous places to be ! Thanks to all who have served our country and thank you for my freedoms you fought for. I apologize for the way you were treated by some when you got back from Vietnam for that I’m truly sorry yet I’m truly proud and grateful for each and every one of you! May God Bless you and all yours for what you gave for your country!
I was on the Saratoga for 2 years. A deck hand walked into a prop. His enlistment ended suddenly.
