Everybody talking about going to Mars, as if they’d be able to afford a ticket if it were even possible. Most people can’t even afford a 2 week vacation on the other side of Earth, yet talk about Mars like it’s a future reality. This Mars stuff is strictly an endeavor for the ultra wealthy to escape the planet they destroyed, and get away from the “poors”.
Seen plenty of plane and helo crashes this week alone. So you quote the statistics and air travel is safer but plenty folks still die screaming from air travel 😉

Such insightful comments from both. Although this run of space exploration is different than previous generations. Much like our military is volunteer now instead of drafted, the space race is privatized and not necessarily nationalized. The shuttle tragedies stopped momentum, but it was also an aged fleet. I think it would take a large mishap to stop progress now.
Sir compared to your subject matter of people and topics I’m a nobody in a country of 350mil. But I also have an idea to further the human race in space and I need your help Sir. I need to know if I’m crazy or this mite could work.

Hate to tell you this, it’s not about getting to Mars at least right now. It’s about billin building out the military surveillance complex, because all the tech bros are worried about the giant fortunes
Mars is an electromagnetic near deadzone. The human brain and autonomic nervous system synchronize with these extremely low-frequency (ELF) fields, influencing circadian rhythms, melatonin production, and heart rate variability. On Earth we have the Schumann Resonance. On Mars we have scattered electromagnetic fields but for yhe most part Mars is dead. Because of the drastic difference between Earth normal gravity or (1G) combined with the moons offset gravity, any attempt to “live” on Mars will result in a fundamental alteration of our genetic material (DNA). Without offsets to stabilize the gravitational impact on an organic system, that system will fundamentally change thus…we would “cease” being human and “become” Martian without any idea of the ramifications of that interaction. The Expanse show on Amazon attempted to communicate that in their portrayal of Martians and Belters. That portrayal isn’t even close to what would actually happen to us as organic beings.
