The ATF was never needed certainly isn’t needed now and not only that but who are they to make up laws? Yes, they actually make up laws. How is that tolerated?

My opinion is the ATF is an unconstitutional, POS that somewhere along the way they decided congress wasn’t fast enough (hard to disagree on that). They started making their own rules based on “consultations” with so called experts. Bottom line, and we all know it, his explanation of ATF enforcement is they decide what is legal in the gun world. Anyone else see a problem?

Actually, the duty of ALL federal employees is to abide by the Constitution. If it’s unconstitutional, like all gun “laws” are, then those laws are null and void. That is were discretion given to law enforcement comes in. I see that his paycheck and pension are more important to him. I think no agency should be doing anything but enforcement, they shouldn’t be legally allowed to legislate anything. Period

Laws should just be more specific, made by lawmakers, so that a law enforcement agency doesn’t also operate like a regulatory agency
If the legislature failes to deem something illegal, then functionally and under the law, it is legal. Usurping Congress to make up rules treated and enforced as laws should be considered sedition. If Congress won’t do their job, recall or primary them.

Here’s what these government agencies think, that only you are obligated to follow the laws that they dictate which they are exempt from.
Agencies have zero regulatory powers in the Constitution. The bedwetters in congress have allowed them to write regulations with the power of laws, but that is an overreach of their authority.
The ATF is an outdated and archaic branch of Federal Law Enforcement. Give alcohol and tobacco to the DEA….they’re both drugs. And firearms and explosives can be regulated by the FBI.
