As a man, i love that Shawn did this episode talking about such important issues. In previously released shorts about this same interview, i’ve seen people comment some things along the lines of: “for the sake of my respect for Shawn and his future endeavours, i won’t be watching this interview”. Testosterone is good for everyone. My wife hit menopause and her hormones plumited. Had zero desire, and I knew it wasn’t me. I still dated her, still tried to woo her, but still no desire. She got on hormone replacement, and let me tell you, we are having the best sex of our marriage thus far. For the forst time, I actually feel satisfied. Her hormones included testosterone (albeit a small amount), and this made her randy as hell. VERY attractive to me. Look into it, if your woman is going through menopause.

cโmon, a drop of testosterone isnโt the reason at all, itโs attractiveness, thatโs all!โฆ Iโm sure that same guy during those 5 years would have no problem with a hot college girl if she came onto him

Wow. ๐๐๐. Iโm 53 and my wife is 50. We have been married for over 22 years been together for 27. Still feels like we are newlywed ๐๐๐. We recently had to start over with custody of our 4 grandchildren. 5 years old, 3 years old 2 year old and newborn is 3 months old. We have had custody for a year. We still have sex 3 or more times a week. I feel sorry for people who didnโt marry the right person.
Its simple math that people keep getting wrong. Sex should not be your primary motivation for marriage. Every healthy marriage has it, but thats not the primary function. The primary function first and foremost ought to be companionship, best friends, confidant’s etc. That should be reason #1 for marriage, a holy union before god, starting a family of your own. Not strictly “pleasure” as one would put it. Actually building a future for each other.

My parents always told me when you get married everything will involve physical contact and not much communication but you once you get older, the communication will come first and the physical aspect will come second maybe even less and less. In the end you two will be almost like best friends who are married with kids. Love of course will be there but the physical intimacy that attracts at first at a young age is no longer there.
