Well, ALOT of cartels are made up of ex Military copies, Cops, etc. So, of course, they’re gonna be geared up and decked out. Some cartels even train like military due to this, so that doesn’t really mean anything or back up his theory.

Which is unfortunate, because I for one find the unknown, the underground, etc very interesting. The stuff they don’t want us to know drives my curiosity up the walls to a point I’d try and serve just to know military secrets, but can’t due to my medical history. Plus I wouldn’t make it anyways in a real war.
Still. Like I’d love to go to Area 51 and other places and see the high tech they got now. That shit is probably wild as hell and the prototype stuff probably would look alien to us due to how advanced it is.

When I was in the service, there was a school being run in a base in the south called the School of the Americas. This was a training school available for all militaries in the Central and South American countries as well as Caribbean and it had been running year round for years…from like the 1950s or 1960s. What I learned about this school is that every dictator, despot, or revolutionary in those countries have been trained at this school…a notable one would be Noriega. So how easy for a United States trained group of “Mexican military” looking guys to run a huge drug empire, conveniently located just across the border, and run under the auspicious of the CIA. This has always bothered me about this drug kingpin because most are flamboyant outgoing individuals and never a recluse.

I don’t think it’s faked maybe leaders can be a plant. These “leaders” do their best so that no one knows who they are, where they live and even all the people they work with.
